Biography
Farrokhzad Jahangiri was a Major and F-4 Phantom pilot in the Imperial Iranian Air Force who participated in the 1980 Nojeh coup plot (Shahrokhi uprising). He was tasked with targeting the residence of Ruhollah Khomeini during the operation but was arrested following the plot's discovery. He was subsequently executed by the Islamic Republic and buried in Section 41 of Behesht-e Zahra cemetery.
سرگرد فرخزاد جهانگیری، خلبان فانتوم نیروی هوایی شاهنشاهی ایران بود که در جریان کودتای نوژه (قیام شاهرخی) در تیر ۱۳۵۹ مشارکت داشت. او مأموریت داشت تا در این عملیات منزل روحالله خمینی را هدف قرار دهد، اما پس از افشای طرح کودتا، بازداشت و تیرباران شد. مزار او در قطعه ۴۱ بهشت زهرای تهران، معروف به زمین سوخته، قرار دارد.
